The NIDUM kitchen under the direction of Chef Damnjan Draganic is on top form every day - and this is now known far beyond the country's borders! This weekend our Damnjan will compete in Zagreb in the finals of the 10 best chefs in Croatia - we keep our fingers crossed for him!
But before we take a well-deserved break after Easter, we're going to have another culinary blast at NIDUM! These are the finely seasoned novelties from our kitchen:
The NIDUM Gourmet Evening
Twice a week we have a very special offer for gourmets and wine lovers: In the festively decorated Vinothek, an exclusive 8-course gourmet menu is served on these two evenings! This will be enjoyed in a small group, up to 10 participants can not only look forward to exquisite culinary delights, our Maitrè Manuel accompanies the gourmet evening with 9 (!) matching glasses of champagne and wine, if desired, you can also request a beer accompaniment when registering!
And because we do not want to deprive anyone of this pleasure, you can participate as a vegetarian, but also as a gourmet who suffers from food allergies, if you register in time.
Common start of the evening is at 18:45 in the Vinotheque.
The NIDUM Steak Evening
Monday evening is THE evening for meat lovers at NIDUM! Similar to the gourmet evening, up to 10 meat gourmets meet in our wine bar. After the start with our gourmet half board, it gets exciting: For the main course, 3 types of meat are presented at the table and expertly carved, these are Tomahawk steaks from Iberico pork and dry aged rib eye & porterhouse steaks from Austrian ox. Of course, a variety of side dishes and specially created sauces are served. Special beers are offered to the menu on request.
The evening starts at 19:00 in the Vinotheque.
Update:
Our chef Damnjan has reached on Sunday the excellent 2nd place at the Cro Top 10! This invitational competition took place in Zagreb, the evaluation of the main course Damnjan could even win with his interpretation of salmon with chard and baby vegetables, in the end it was only a razor-thin margin, which separated his opponent in 1st place from Damnjan!
We are proud as hell and celebrate our hero, who today already again, freshly motivated, has taken the scepter in "his kitchen"!
