1. Winter walking world: “www” done differently!

How about this? You put your screen away and make off into the distance. Replace computer rays with the sun’s rays. Get away from it all and find your meditative rhythm. Whether you have snow shoes or not, winter hiking doesn’t just leave tracks in the sparkling blanket of snow...
Everyone who comes to the NIDUM is active right from our front door: The winter walking world adventure starts directly from the fifth floor. Feel the snow crunch under your feet as you take a brief hike through the forest to the fairytale Möserer See lake. But other paths also lead to some wonderful places too. Places where you can take a break and properly relax. Your hiking partner, alias our hiking guide Walter, will trudge alongside you through the unspoiled world of powder snow. Afterwards you can defrost in the blissful, warm Infinity Pool – winter in pool position, you could say.

2. Cross-country skiing: however far you go, it’s always healthy!

Anyone looking for a real full body workout should make their way to the World Championship ski trails of this Olympic region. There’s hardly a sport that has as many positive side effects as cross-country skiing does: It strengthens your immune response, uses 600 (!) muscles, is gentle on the joints and will make all your holiday calories vanish into the winter air. And to top it all off? Thanks to the high altitude and snow farming, the season in Seefeld can already get going in November. Whether it’s on the classic trails or on your skating skis – with 250 kilometres to choose from, everyone can pick up speed. There is also a night-time trail, a dog trail and a barrier-free cross-country ski track. Back in the NIDUM, you slide straight into the sauna for hot-and cold feelings of happiness.

3. Seat, sledge, repeat: At a respectable runner speed!

In Seefeld you’ll find several natural toboggan runs. Leisurely to strenuous ascents are rewarded with a snack in a mountain chalet and a far-reaching view. On the way back, curve your way through scenic countryside and wild, romantic winter forests. The steep and rapid Reitherjoch Alm natural toboggan run is perfect for anyone seeking an especially challenging descent. An 18% gradient and the numerous serpentines provide a large dose of adrenalin.

4. Ice Ice Baby: natural ice skating & curling

Skating fans and pirouette turners on a winter holiday in Seefeld have multiple opportunities to whiz across the bare ice on narrow blades. Often, even on the Möserer See lake right behind the NIDUM. Once it has been frozen for a long time and the ice rink is more than ten centimetres thick, it can be used at the weekends – and it includes a panorama trail on the ice and an ice hockey pitch.

5. Skiing the gentle way? Yes we can!

Small but fine. That’s them! The ski resorts of Gschwandtkopf and neighbouring Rosshütte. The Gschwandtkopf resort, with its fabulous views, is just 120 seconds away from the NIDUM. As well as the main slope with a view out over the roofs of Seefeld, there are also some picturesque forest descents. The somewhat larger neighbouring resort of Rosshütte is ten minutes away, but it’s tranquil there too. The sunny slopes of Rosshütte were even labelled an “insider tip and leading ski area worldwide with up to 20 kilometres of slopes”! Both mountains are about skiing, not swanning about. Meaning: Almost all of the around 30 kilometres of slopes are accessible without enclosed gondolas.
