LET’S COOL DOWN: 7 REFRESHING SUMMER HIGHLIGHTS IN AND AROUND THE HOTEL

When the heat broods in the valley, it remains pleasantly refreshing on Tyrol's high plateau. From cool mountain lakes to rushing waterfalls to sparkling drinks - all kinds of refreshing things await you on your summer vacation in Seefeld. Here come our cool-down highlights that the NIDUM and Seefeld have to offer in summer. May the cooling be with you!

1) The new natural bathing pond

The place to be for summer visitors? Our sparkling new natural bathing pond. Located at the edge of the forest behind the hotel, it provides a short kick with a long effect. The hiking trails pass behind the bathing pond, so you can dive directly into the natural water after the summit. But beware: Here are not only perfect temperatures for hot days, but also views with addictive danger.

2) Lake Möser around the corner

If you're in the mood for a refreshing change, pack your bath towel and head to Lake Möser. Only a ten-minute walk through shady woods separates the NIDUM from this little gem in the middle of the nature reserve. A swim among water birds and wildflowers refreshes body and mind.

3) Summit breeze on the Seefeld peak

Sick of heat? Go up and cool down! On the Seefelder Peak at 2,221 meters above sea level, it's wonderful to endure. A cool breeze on your face and four countries in view: The view stretches from the peaks of the Karwendel Mountains to Germany's Zugspitze, Italy and Switzerland. Motivated hikers can reach Seefeld's local mountain on foot. Those who prefer a little jump-start can float up to the Seefelder Joch by cable car and follow the ridge to the summit cross.

4) Bike tour to the source of the Isar river

We have another hot - or rather cool - excursion tip for the Seefeld summer. Follow the Isar river to its source. And it's best to do so smiling instead of panting with our hotel's own e-bikes. In the midst of the Karwendel mountains, Bavaria's fourth largest river gushes from its springs. These lie fabulously nestled in the forest and offer pleasant refreshment with a water temperature of 3 to 6 degrees. Action fans can also go rafting on the Isar and experience the Karwendel from a side that only few get to see.

5) Excursion to the Gleirschklamm gorge

Wild rocky gorges, narrow bridges, steep inclines - when hiking through the original Gleirschklamm gorge, you can't help but be amazed! It is wonderfully shady in this natural gorge. Cool water awaits you all the way along the banks of the roaring torrent. Or you can take a shower in the fine spray next to the waterfall.

6) Refreshing drinks on the Apero Terrace

Wide sunshades, cold sparkling water and a magnificent view of the Inn Valley: On our Apero Terrace we chat, toast and enjoy. Fruity Lillet, sparkling Hugo: our barman will conjure up your favorite cool drink in no time at all. Cheers to the summer vacation in Seefeld!

7) Cool dreams in our suites

Sweaty summer nights? Not at the NIDUM! Thanks to our location at 1,200 meters above sea level, the fresh mountain breeze and the cooling natural materials, you can breathe easy again at night. Perhaps you will soon no longer dream in front of the screen, but "live" in our suites!
