Hike to the Gschwandkopf

From the parking lot at Gschwandkopf we walk past the Seefeld Olympic ski jump along a forest path to Mösern. From there, the gravel path leads us up to the Gschwandtkopf. There we can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Wetterstein, the Karwendel and even the Tux glacier. After a stop at the Sonnenalm, we descend via a small trail in the direction of Reith. Back we go via the small hiking trail along the Wildsee back to our starting point.

Reither Jochalm

From the parking lot at the Gschwandkopf we walk over the Pfarrhügel to the Wildsee and further to the Ichtyolwerk. There a narrow, rather steep trail leads up to the Reither Jochalm, a rustic hut with a great view over Seefeld. After a stop for refreshments, we first take the forest path in the direction of the slope and then descend via a narrow path to the Krummen Steig. We walk out to the Rosshütten valley station and through Seefeld back to the starting point.

Rotmoosalm

By car we drive to Oberleutasch, district Klamm parking lot (fee required). We walk on a beautiful forest trail up to the Wettersteinhütte and to the Wangalm. From the Scharnitzer Joch we walk and the climbing walls along the Süwandsteig to the Rotmoosalm (managed). The path is a natural jewel with a brilliant view, a real feel-good mountain tour with effort. With a little luck we can observe marmots. Return via the Schafersteig behind Salzbach and to the starting point.

Schlossbachklamm

From the parking lot at Gschwandkopf we walk to the train station. We take the train to Hochzierl. Here the hike begins on a beautiful forest path to the wildly romantic Schlossbachklamm gorge. After a short descent into the gorge, a narrow hiking trail leads us back up to the high trail. Above us the old iron train bridge that connects Innsbruck and Mittenwald for more than 100 years. We walk along the ridgeway to Reith where we stop for a break and then return to our starting point at the Wildsee.

Seefelder- Reither Spitze

From the Rosshütte valley station we drive up to the Seefelder Joch. There the hike begins along a wide hiking trail along the ridge up to the Seefelder Spitze. Down we go again on a narrow path into the Reither Kar. Here begins the ascent over the cirque to the Reither Scharte and further up to the Reither Spitze. There we can enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view that extends over the Wetterstein, Karwendel, Stubai and Tux Alps. Down we go to the Nördlinger hut where we strengthen ourselves. The way back is under the Reither Spitze to the railroad, where we come back to the Rösshütte and there again along the hiking trail along the Kaltwassersee back to the starting point.

Seenrunde

From the parking lot at the Gschwandkopf we walk through the Kirchwaldsiedlung and continue along a beautiful narrow hiking trail up to Wildmoos. There we continue along meadows and forests to the Wildmoossee and to the Lottensee, which hide a small Gemeimnis. At the Lottensee we take a short break for a drink and then continue along the Möserer Steig to the Möserer Lake where we stop for a break on the terrace with a view of the lake. After refreshment we hike over the Möserer Mähder back to our starting point.

Reither Spitze-Ursprungsattel

From the Rosshütte valley station we drive up to the Härmele. There the hike begins along a trail to the Reither Scharte. Further high alpine up to the Reither Spitze. There we can enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view that extends over the Wetterstein, Karwendel, Stubai and Tux Alps. Down we go to the Nördlinger Hütte where we stop for a short break. Behind the hut a narrow path (high alpine) leads down to the origin saddle. From there we go through the Wimmertal, scenically a dream, downhill to the Eppzirlam where we stop comfortably. From there out on a wide gravel path to Scharnitz and back to the starting point.

GEHRENSPITZE

By car we drive to Oberleutasch, Klamm district parking lot (fee required). The ascent begins with a steep climb along the Klammbach stream past the Wettersteinhütte to the Wangalm. Continue over the Scharnitzer Joch to the memorial hut over the southern slopes of the Gehrenspitze. Under the 2 upstream summit formations (Kirchl) further to the main summit at 2367 HM. Gigantic view of the Wetterstein and Karwendel mountains up to the Grossvenediger group. (with good visibility) Retour goes via the Wettersteinhütte (bewitschaftet) on a small trail to the Salzbach and back to our starting point.
