Hike to the Seefelder Spitze

The hike to the Seefelder Spitze is an absolute MUST.
My sister Marilena, friend Ulli and Aussi Lenny were our guests at NIDUM last week and took advantage of the beautiful summer weather for this great panoramic hike.

How to reach the Seefeld peak?
The start of this hike is the valley station of the Rosshütte cable car. Take the funicular to the top station and from there use the gondola to get to the Seefelder Joch (2,220m). At the beginning, a wide hiking trail leads you along a grassy ridge to a somewhat narrower ridge towards the Seefelder Spitze. From Seefelder Joch to the top takes about 40 minutes. The view is truly breathtaking and invites you to linger. The descent down to the "Törl" at 2,122m is somewhat steep and there is danger of slipping. Continue to the Reither Joch, from there directly to the mountain station Härmele from where you can take the gondola back to the mountain station Rosshütte. From there, you can walk along the forest path towards the valley station, or return comfortably with the funicular.
